About Ture

Career transitions should not feel like free fall.

We started Ture because the way most organizations support people through career change is broken — expensive, manual, opaque, and built around vendors instead of the people living through it. We believe technology and empathy can do better, in that order.

Person moving forward with optimism

Our story

Built by people who have been there.

Our founding team has run career transition programs firsthand, watched the old vendors let people down, and seen how much more HR teams can do with one platform instead of three or four. Ture is the platform we wish we'd had.

  • We started with a single belief: HR oversight doesn't have to come at the cost of employee privacy.
  • We built Ture to give employees real, AI-guided support — and to give the organizations behind them confidence that it's working.
  • We measure ourselves on time-to-placement, employee activation, and real outcomes — not on seat count.
  • We are headquartered in Toronto with team members across North America and Europe.

Our mission

Give every person in career transition a clear path forward, and give the organizations behind them confidence that it's working.

We're building one platform where HR oversight, employee experience, provider workflows, and skills-based hiring all live together, without compromising privacy or dignity.

Person finding a path forward

Our values

Six values behind every product decision.

These aren't posters on a wall. We use them to break ties when product, design, and engineering disagree — and to push past the easy answer.

Dignity first

Every product decision starts with the person going through the change. Tone, defaults, and visibility all reflect that.

Privacy by design

We build the line between organizational oversight and personal data into the architecture — not as an afterthought.

Measurable impact

If you can't measure it, you can't improve it. We give teams the analytics to show their programs are working.

Inclusive by default

From Guided Access for digital literacy barriers to name-blind matching for bias reduction — inclusion is built in.

Relentlessly simple

Complex problems deserve simple tools. We hide the complexity so people can focus on progress.

Connected, not siloed

Transition, talent, and learning belong on one platform. We refuse to ship features that re-create the silos we set out to remove.

What we believe

Three convictions that show up in the product.

Conviction 1

Privacy and oversight are not a tradeoff.

Every legacy vendor forces HR to choose between visibility and trust. Ture refuses that tradeoff: HR sees aggregate program outcomes, employees keep private workspaces, and the platform enforces the boundary in code.

  • HR oversight stays at the program level.
  • Employees keep private job-search activity.
  • Providers get case-scoped access only.

Conviction 2

AI has to make the human relationship stronger, not weaker.

We use AI to take away the parts of transition that drain dignity — generic resumes, scattered job boards, repeated form-fills — and to give coaches and providers more room for the work that actually matters.

  • AI Coach scaffolds employee experience between coaching sessions.
  • Provider console summarizes caseload data so coaches stay close to clients.
  • Skills translation gives every participant a fair starting point.

Conviction 3

Career transition is the connective tissue of modern HR.

Layoffs, redeployment, internal mobility, and skills-based hiring aren't separate problems. They're the same skills graph viewed from different angles. Ture treats them as one workflow — and customers feel the compounding benefit of doing it that way.

  • Skills data flows between transition, mobility, and hiring.
  • Flex Credits work across coaching, learning, and Marketplace.
  • Reporting consolidates across cohorts and programs.
